Most likely if you have heard of Zephyr you associate them with one the best ventilation in the market but did you know they also do beverage Refrigeration? I didn’t – just learned this at the Zephyr Design And Experience Center In San Francisco. Learned about this and So much more. I’ll get back to that beverage fridge in a minute. But first, I’d like share some highlights from this retreat.
I had the honor of attending the Zephyr Designer Retreat with 10 other amazing designers and influencers from across the country. It was a 3 day trip filled with latest in home design, food, and lifestyle.
Day 1
After arriving in San Francisco Zephyr took us out to dinner at the Award-Winning restaurant Che Fico – We dined in the Adriano Celentano dining room – it was really cool, reminded me of being in Italy. Enjoyed numerous delicious dishes from the Jewish Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica” that just kept coming out to the table. You can say we were fed well.
Our accommodations were perfect – Stayed at the hottest New Hotel in San Francisco – The Proper Hotel designed by Kelly Wearstler.
Day 2
Design Day was a day full of inspiration – Visited the Zephyr Showroom and Experience center where I learned about their products – and had the honor of meeting and hearing a wonderful lecture by Fu-Tung Cheng.
What is really awesome about the 7,000 sq. foot showroom is that they have every product they make there … So you can test out. Everything is installed and working so you can see, touch, try out.
The Design day continued with some eye candy … as we hit the Design District visiting Fireclay and Coup D’ Etat.
Topped the evening off with an intimate dinner at Boulettes Larder at the iconic Ferry Building.
Day 3
Winery – Joseph Phelps & Hall Rutherford
After an amazing day in Napa – we finished the evening with cocktails and bites at the Proper Hotel Rooftop Charmaine’s. It was a beautiful San Francisco evening.
Speaking of WINE … Now let’s talk about the Beverage fridge. So yes, Zephry is known for their ventilation, and so The “Presrv” came about because Mr. Luke Siow , president of Zephyr couldn’t find a wine fridge that met all his needs , so he set out to design the best wine fridge -with Active cooling technology , full extension wood racks , precise temp feature all wrapped up in a very chic package. So there’s a DUAL ZONE wine cooler and a Beverage cooler. The 15” beverage cooler is perfect for those older homes that have the trash compactors that you are replacing or for a little space.
