Stay at home orders has everyone thinking about their homes and wanting to improve them.  More than ever, people are living in their spaces and noticing things they didn’t before.

I’ve enjoyed the calls and emails asking for advice and hearing the enthusiasm from everyone working on their home projects. Some big undertakings, some small, but all in all – people are taking pride in their homes.

I’ve also had a lot of messages from past clients Thanking me for making their homes beautiful, comfortable sanctuaries that they are enjoying during these uncertain times.

If you need any design advice right now while you are Sheltering in Place, I’m available for online home design consultations providing advice over emails with concept boards and shopping list with links that you can get on your own if you don’t need full design services.

Or like some of my regular clients are doing, we are designing spaces, getting quotes ready, placing orders where we can and putting everything in the pipeline so we are in line and ready for installations.  Construction is considered essential and there are a lot of projects still happening. Everyone practicing safe social distancing of course and taking all precautions like using masks, gloves and booties too.  Really grateful for that. We were able to finish up a bathroom that was midway in construction. Client is really happy she has a completed bathroom that she can enjoy right now and the contractor was happy too for having work.

I, like many designers out there are rising to the challenge of serving our clients at a distance. While the uncertainty of how and when the economy will rebound is a constant worry for all of us, having something else to focus on (like design) is a great way to stay motivated and positive. It shifts the focus. As we wait for normalcy to return, I hope you and your families are healthy and well and finding comfort and safety in your homes.

It’s been really nice to see all the TLC people are putting into their homes durning this pandemic.

Stay safe, stay healthy and Stay inspired!

Wishing you all my best!
